Hey there! Welcome to my blog.

My name is Evie, but online I go by @snuggle. I work in tech as a site reliability engineer (SRE), always herding computers around with code! 🐄👩🏽‍💻

@DaveHowe The target audience though, I’m in a rush to the train station and thirsty!

This isn’t a supermarket where people are trying to compare prices and save money, it’s a tiny convenience store on the walk towards a train station. I’d prefer to spend an extra £1 per item, so I don’t miss my train, have to buy another train ticket and seriously ruin my morning.

I don’t have a way to carry a week’s shopping. I don’t see why they’re getting angry at their customers for that?

I think it’s frustrating because these business owners start getting upset when people just try to buy a couple items, when they’re literally your core target audience.

If people are going to spend more than £5, they might as well do a full week/month’s shop at a supermarket instead and bring a bike/car to carry it all.

I am baffled by how many convenience stores still have a £5 minimum card charge.

You’re a convenience store… and I just want a single small drink (maybe a chocolate bar too) so I don’t dehydrate, but you’re telling me I now need to buy and carry multiple litres around all day, just to use your store? Sounds… pretty uh… inconvenient, no?

I think I’ll just go to Tesco, instead.

Live dangerously, close your eyes, hope

@desiree Gosh, I would also like to know! I found a cute Pokemon desk mat on Etsy, my setup looks like this!

I wish more websites supported security key two-factor authentication!

They can have access to *so much stuff*, it's terrifying. Even if they restrict to a few permissions, my browser is sacred.
